Magazines

Are we too old for Cosmo? I dont know about y'all but I'm 26, almost 27 and I recently decided I might be too old for Cosmo magazine. I feel like every issue is the same. How to please your man. These are the products you need NOW. Scary things that can happen to you at the gyno. Girls that get into bad situations and how to avoid them.....You get the point.

I recently canceled my subscription and decided to get Real Simple instead. Great magazine! Now I'm finding new recipes and decorating tips and how to be more organized. I'm not sure what all of this says about me, maybe I'm settling down and I'm ready to make a home and family.

I also get In Style, Harpers Bazaar and my roommate gets Vogue. I am not a huge Vogue fan, there are too many words and not enough pictures. I'm not a big reader. I would love a subscription to Southern Living but that would be too much like my mom. I just steal her old ones.

What does everyone else read?

Cosmo is especially tragic when you're married and don't want to learn about how to catch a man or how to make a man love you.

I'm with you on Real Simple. I also love Redbook. Sounds old- but it's a great read. Check it out!

I do also read Town & Country, Self and More.

Right now I get Self, Glamour, Real Simple, Southern Living, and All You. I am not renewing Glamour, though. So, yes, I am also becoming my mother. In fact, she got me the subscription to Southern Living through her subscription for free. And if you've never read All You, try it out- I love that one!

Your roommate gets Vanity Fair. That's the one that gives you a headache. Also, the former tenants of your new apt get harper's bazaar and in style hahaha
