Are we too old for Cosmo? I dont know about y'all but I'm 26, almost 27 and I recently decided I might be too old for Cosmo magazine. I feel like every issue is the same. How to please your man. These are the products you need NOW. Scary things that can happen to you at the gyno. Girls that get into bad situations and how to avoid them.....You get the point.

I recently canceled my subscription and decided to get Real Simple instead. Great magazine! Now I'm finding new recipes and decorating tips and how to be more organized. I'm not sure what all of this says about me, maybe I'm settling down and I'm ready to make a home and family.

I also get In Style, Harpers Bazaar and my roommate gets Vogue. I am not a huge Vogue fan, there are too many words and not enough pictures. I'm not a big reader. I would love a subscription to Southern Living but that would be too much like my mom. I just steal her old ones.

Hottie of the Week: Matthew Goode

My apologies for being a little MIA lately. I have a new boy in my life and have been spending spare time with him. In keeping with hottie of the week Sunday nights I am giving us all a little Eye Candy. I first saw this hottie in Chasing Liberty. Then he was in MatchPoint which I loved. I searched high and low for a copy of Brideshead Revisited just to see Goode. He is now staring in Leap Year and I cant wait to see it!

Hottie of the week: Josh Holloway

This past summer my roommate and I decided we needed a new show to watch until the fall seasons started back up. We decided to spend the summer netflixing LOST. We got addicted. Not only to the show but to the sexy southern badass...Sawyer!

I'll admit I didnt like him very much in the beginning but he has grown on me and now I find naughty very sexy. Ladies I give you..Josh Holloway!

I cant write

So yesterday I was filling out paperwork AGAIN for a reality show that I have been shortlisted for. I havent told you all about this yet but I will get to that. As I started to fill out 10 pages of Q and As I realized something, I think I forgot how to write. I spend so much time typing that I rarely have to write things. I misspelled words left and write and my handwriting is very bad. Okay now the teaser that caught your eye.

I havent mentioned this reality show because I wasnt sure how sure of a thing it was. Things are looking good!  The show is called "The Good Life". It is about socialite's in various town's across America who live a good life. Girls who have great designer clothes and accessories and fantastic friends. There is a part of my life that I've only briefly mentioned to you. I am a self proclaimed socialite.

My family is very involved in the Savannah College of Art and Design and I go to all of their events. Which are amazing and oh so glamourous! Every year there is a Fashion show with big names like: Andre Leon Talley, Tom Ford, Vera Wang, Zac Posen, and Marc Jacobs. I have met all of these people and even shared thanksgiving dinner with Andre in 2004.

Film Festival is another big SCAD event that takes place every October. Here is a photo of me and Catherine Zeta Jones.

This year I got to meet Claire Danes and she was super nice. I dont like to brag or even share these facts because they sound like bragging and I dont want to come across that way. However, if this show pans out I will be doing it to make my family and the college proud. I will do my best to shed a good and classy light on southern socialites. I hope not to have any scandals, fights, or drunk hookups. At least not caught on tape :)

I wanted to share that part of my life so that I can keep you all abreast as this unfolds. It will probably not pan out once they realize that I actually hate heels and never wear Manolos. The fact that I cant write probably wont help me either.

Hottie of the week: Henry Cavill

I'm not sure what the rest of you do during your vacations but, I watch lots of tv and sleep. I decided to spend this long weekend watching season 1 of the Tudors. I'm a bit of a history nerd and therefore appreciate the concept of the show. And then I saw Henry Cavill who portrays the Duke of Suffolk. HOTTIE!! I'm so addicted now and cant wait to see him in season 2 which I should have in a few days.
